Monk is both a DJ and music producer. As a DJ, Monk is known for his open format style making sure to play world sounds and rhythms that move the body. DJ Monk spins "music from Planet Earth".
Monk is a producer with a firm foundation in head nodding boom bap, trip hop, disco, jazz, world, and break beats. Vocal recording, audio mixing and mastering are all components of Monk's repertoire. You can also catch Monk on the vocals emceeing conscious rhymes.

Monk is an established muralist with public art in both Grand Rapids and Holland, MI. He hosts aerosol workshops for youth and teens and can frequently be found painting live at community events and festivals. Monk most enjoys community art projects that get residents and youth engaged to create a sense of belonging by helping community member's voices be "seen" on a public wall.
